INFORMATION GATHERING AND USAGE
The information we collect is used to provide you with requested services and to improve the content of our web pages and the quality of our services.
We do not collect personally identifying data, such as names, addresses, email addresses, and the like, except when voluntarily submitted by our web site visitors. We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail.
When you register on the web site of OnFast, we ask for information such as your name, company, and email address [other information? - such as birth date, gender, zip code, telephone number, industry, occupation?]. Members who sign up for the free account are not required to enter a credit card. The personally identifiable information which you submit to us is used only to provide you the services you have requested, to customize the content which you see, and for us to contact you by e-mail when you have authorized us to do so.
Non-personally identifiable information is used anonymously and in the aggregate for us to conduct research and to improve the performance and compatibility of our services. This information includes technical information such as browser type, computer platform, as well as click-stream information, searches performed and other web site activities which we record and analyze in the aggregate.
OnFast does not solicit personal information from children. You must be 13 years or older to use this site.
- A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to your browser from a web site's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive.
- Cookies are required to use the OnFast service.
OnFast is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. When we transmit highly confidential information (such as a credit card number or password) over the Internet, we protect it through the use of encryption. Additionally, you are required to log-in to your OnFast account after a certain period of time has elapsed to protect you against others accidentally accessing your account contents. We cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that the information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet.
If a password is used to help protect your accounts and personal information, it is your responsibility to keep your password confidential. Do not share this information with anyone.
OnFast uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run OnFast.
Although OnFast owns the code, databases, and all rights to the OnFast application, you retain all rights to your data.
DISCLOSURE AND SHARING
Your information is not shared or traded with or sold or rented to other organizations, except to provide products or services you have requested, when we have your permission, or under the following special circumstances:
- We have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of information is reasonably necessary to:
- Investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, violations of the Terms of Service or technical issues;
- Protect the rights, property and safety of OnFast, its users and other third parties; or,
- Comply with a court order, a subpoena or similar legal order or otherwise required by law.
Use of the OnFast web site is subject to our Terms of Service. By using this web site, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions contained therein.
OnFast may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your OnFast account or by posting a prominent notice on our site. By continuing to use the OnFast web site after the posting of a notice regarding such changes, you agree to be bound by such changes.
